As the pioneer of the Fractional Yacht Ownership Program eight years ago, Monocle has created a program that divides a yacht into fractional shares with the owners becoming shareholders. Unlike yacht manufacturers and yacht brokers, Monocle does not generate a profit on the offering of the yacht nor any of the ensuing operating expenses. Monocle operates on a "Yacht-o-Minium" concept much like a luxury Condominium building and receives a fee for its management services. In fact, under the Monocle Management Program, the annual operating expenses, which are split among the owners accordingly, are kept to a minimum as a result of Monocle's Fleet Purchasing power. This is yacht management at its best.

As part of the Monocle Program, our management team, with its 75 years of yacht management experience, will professionally and meticulously manage your yacht eliminating, the unpleasant responsibilities of individual yacht ownership, assuring appreciating value. Your investment will return countless hours of personal pleasure or rewarding business benefits. Our fractional owners take advantage of the Owners Communication Center for scheduling, questions, Boatique purchases, and other information about their yacht.

Financing Your Share:  As you scroll through the fleet section of our website you will notice that several of the yachts are offering a very attractive finance package. If treated as a second home or a business enterprise the interest payments are tax deductible. As a business enterprise you may take advantage of both depreciation and deductible costs.

We will assist you with the selection and purchase of half shares in certain yachts and full shares in most yachts currently enrolled in our fractional program or you can join one of our “purchase groups” that are continually being formed to purchase a specific model yacht at our discounted pricing. In the future, should you decide to sell your ownership share or the fractional group decides to sell the yacht entirely, Monocle will partner the unused portion of your idle asset with other Yachtsmen with similar discriminating objectives and economic commitment.

Current yacht owners can take advantage of the registration program by having Monocle fractionalize the unused portion of their idle asset. Not only will they receive immediate cash from the sale, share the operating expenses, they will also benefit from Monocle’s management expertise.
