Monocle Pioneered the Fractional Yacht Ownership Program in 2000

Overview

• Monocle divides the purchase of the yacht into 5% and 10% ownership shares. Purchase only as much as you will use. 5% shares begin as low as $75,000.
• Each 5% share entitles you to 2 weeks of use per year on your own yacht traveling exotic parts of the world such as the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Mexico, Tahiti, Bora Bora for as long as you choose to own your share.
• Let your vacation begin.
• The annual operating expenses include the cost of 3-10 crew, insurance, repairs & maintenance, management, materials & supplies, transportation of the vessel, etc., which averages $20,000 for a 5% share in a 100' yacht.
• Your only other expense is for your food, liquor, fuel and dockage while aboard. This averages $3-$5000 per week for a 100’ yacht with four staterooms accommodating up to 9 guests. There is a no tipping policy.
• All of the yachts come equipped with fine china and linens, a complete entertainment center with satellite communications for TV and Internet. They have stabilizers, water makers, generators and carry jet skies, kayaks, snorkeling and diving equipment, fishing supplies and often tow a separate fishing boat. Many of the yachts have a flybridge Jacuzzi with spacious sunning areas.
• A professional crew whose main focus is pleasing you and your guests includes a licensed captain, gourmet chef, stewardess and engineer, all having excellent credentials and experience.
• Monocle Management with its 85 years of asset management experience meticulously cares for your yacht, screens and places the crew, creates and monitors the owners schedule and removes you from all the ownership responsibilities.
